Understanding answers

Replies are generated from UK regulation PDFs (Approved Documents, BS 7671 guide, FAQs). The assistant tries to cite which document applies.

Citations

When you see a document name under a reply (e.g. “AD P — Electrical”), that is the source the AI used. Section numbers may appear when the model finds them — always open the official PDF for critical decisions.

When answers seem wrong

• Rephrase your question with more detail about the site
• Ask “Which Approved Document applies?”
• Check the official gov.uk or IET publications
